SCRC National

__________________________________________________________________________

I am sending this information to all State Officers, 1st and 2nd Officers to give you a better idea of what is needed to host a National Rally.

Everyone is now waiting to hear of the National Rally for 2026. Please review the requirements and submit to your Regional Officer your location request to host the 2026 National Rally. The National Officers will then take in all of your submissions and make a final decision on the 2026 National Rally location.

1. A strong team of go-getters.
2. Host hotel with 100-120 rooms.
3. Secondary hotel with walking distance with at least 50 rooms.
4. A large room for registration and auction items.
5. A room to hold Officers meeting, could also use auction room.
6. Rally typically held in September but can be discussed.
7. Restaurants and shopping near by, other areas of interest.
8. Is there a campground available?
9. Make sure officers in your chain of command are aware and approve.

We look forward to receiving your 2026 National Rally request. As always please follow the chain of command, check to see if your choice meets the requirements, and remember if you do nothing, nothing happens.

We are excited to announce next years rally location. Let's get this on the books as soon as possible. Start sending them in now.

CHAPTER 702 SCHEDULED RIDE
Multichapter Meetup
Saturday, September 20th 2025
Dest Was:
Baci Pizzeria, 830 N.Dixie Hwy,New Smyrna Beach 32168

What a turn out today, to Baci Pizzieria in New Symrna. It started out as a simple email to Dan Dow asking if 739 and 702 could get together. It turned into a 50 plus member ride with multiple chapters meeting up: 739, 242, 122, 694, 545. Dan lead the group safely to the resturant (using his version of a GPS a Graphic Papers Scribbled). The food was exceptional and the service was fast, but definitely the brotherhood and sisterhood of SCRC outshines it all! We will see you on the next one, RIDE ON!

Dest was: St. John's River Grille
,
2997 FL-44, Deland, Fl 32720
Eleven people departed our meet up point on this beautiful October Morning for a scenic 104 mile round trip journey through rural and suburban Florida.
We could not have asked for any better weather!
We were met at the restaurant by Weasel and Bear, a very pleasant surprise. Jerry did a fine job of leading the group safely to our destination and home!

Cooter picked up the parts that fell off at the rear of the group and Charles kept the center of the pack in line!

CHAPTER 702 SCHEDULED RIDE
Saturday, November 1, 2025
Dest was: Toasted Yolk
, 1615 County Rd 220 Unit 180, Fleming Island, FL 32003
The sun was up and the air was crisp and cool, a perfect day for a 140 mile round trip ride. Nine riders enjoyed the leisurley scenic ride along the St, Johns River. Eddie lead the group with Jerry covering the rear. All arrived safely home after a beautiful rural adventure.

CHAPTER 702 SCHEDULED RIDE
Saturday, November 8, 2025
Dest was: Norma D's
, Hastings, Fl
Nine people met at our Racetrac Station this beautiful, clear morning for a 109 mile round trip scenic ride. Our posted destination was to have been Colee's, Palatka, Fl. After a few phone calls we determined they (Colee's) no longer had breakfast after 10:00 AM. Our Road Captain after a brief discussion and the consensus that most of us preferred breakfast, modified the destination to Norma D's in Hastings. Norma D's has breakfast all day on Saturdays! Jerry did a great job leading us with Charles covering the middle of the pack (almost LOL) and Cooter picking up the parts that fall off.
