Twenty people departed from our Racetrack meet up point on a beautiful sunny Florida day! Cooter led the group safely to the destination where we were joined by Chapter 122, 716. Our meal was delicious, The service wait was lengthy but that was understandable, this
restaurant is not yet able to handle large groups, in all they did well!! Jerry picked up the parts that fell off. Everyone reported home safely by 2:30 PM!! We collected an additional $27.00 today for St. Jude which brings our to date total to $77.00! Good Job 702! |

Six Bikes with six people headed out into the beautiful, clear, Florida rural roads. This was one of our shorter rides, approximately 84 miles round trip. We had changed our venue from Aunt Kates in St. Augustine to Jim's Place in Elkton. The expected traffic in St. Augustine with construction on US1 and A1A along with the closure of the Bridge of Lions, would not have been a fun ride! Cooter lead the way getting us all home safely by 1:30 PM with Jerry collecting the parts that fell off along the way! As usual the food and service was impeccable, the fellowship was top notch |

Nine people departed the Raccetrack Meet up point this beautiful clear Florida morning for a 101 mile roundtrip excursion. The weather was dry and sunny, the fellowship superb, the food and service excellant. The trip into the restaurant was not without issues. What looked like solid gravel/sand roadway wasn't! Three of us got into some suger sand and buried the bikes to the frame. After a few members came together and pushed, we got everyone out safely! We had been here several times in the past without problems, I guess the dry weather has taken it's toll! Cooter lead the way with Charles in the middle and Jerry retrieving any parts that fell off! We beat the forecast rain, everyone checked in safe at home and dry! |
